In a few days, we will be welcoming a new year, and it is the perfect time to introspect about how 2022 was, what we learned, and how we can be better in the new year. This past year, we faced some struggles, but it was also a year of new opportunities, resilience, and overcoming many obstacles. I started the year with a setback in my health, another Pulmonary Embolism. It was unexpected, but I'm grateful for the blessing of being a survivor. I'm thankful for being alive and having the opportunity to share precious time with my loved ones. But even when it was another scary moment, God was always by my side, giving me peace and opening new doors for us.

Yes, there can be peace in the middle of the trials. And things that were supposed to destroy you sometimes spark the birth of blessings in our lives. For example, because of my health, I couldn't continue working where I was, but God is so great that He already had a plan, and an opportunity to work from home arrived. It was an unexpected blessing, and the great thing is that since then, I've been working on what I love. I've been writing and creating for God's glory. My husband also started working from home; this was the cherry on top this year. It was an answer to what I have been praying for; for him to have time to create and do what he loves. Both of us at home doing what we love has been a great blessing for everyone. Watching him in his creative mode is a joy for me. It blesses me to watch him create new things and witness the joy it brings him.

The birth of Itos was a lifeline for him; this woke up his dreams again, and as soon as he started creating, he began to shine again. I'm so happy about that. He deserves it. After so many sacrifices and struggles, he deserves to see the fruits of his hard work. And even though I know this is just the beginning, and there are more paths we need to keep walking, all these blessings have brought peace and joy to our lives. Yes, we may encounter more struggles in the future, but we will face them together as we did before, and we will do it with more resilience than before, and the faith that if God is by our side, everything will be okay.

We are grateful to God for all the doors He opened. I also thank our families for supporting us all the way and blessing us. May God bless you with good health and many blessings for all that you sowed in us during this year. Thanks to our bosses for believing in our talents and letting us do what we love. God has been using you to bless us, and we have seen His mercy through both of you. May God bless you abundantly! We are thankful for all the friends who were beside us, not only in the good times but stayed with us when we struggled. Thanks for cheering us up and holding our hands up when we needed it the most. To those friends who are like family to us, may God bless you always. Thanks for being there, even if it was to cry with us or to cheer us up with your jokes 😂. We are grateful for all the blessings this 2022 brought us, and we await 2023 with great expectations. We will receive the new year with the hope of a blessed year, full of great opportunities and many blessings. We welcome 2023 with a hunger for more of God's presence in our lives and a strong desire to continue using our talents for His glory.

To all of you who walked in my shoes through this past year, thank you for your support. I'm looking forward to continuing to walk this path together with you. I'm excited to start sharing our shoes more during the new year. May 2023 be a year full of love, good health, new opportunities, prosperity, joy, and peace.
